Mount Kenya
Located south of the equator, Mount Kenya is the second-highest mountain in Africa after Kilimanjaro. Added to the UNESCO world heritage site list in 1997, this long-extinct volcano stands tall at the height of 17, 022 feet. This majestic mountain in Kenya is often overshadowed by the highest mountain in Africa, Mount Kilimanjaro which lies just 400 km away. Mount Kenya is less crowded with spectacular scenes, easy to trek, and deserves all the attention from adventure lovers.
Sangiang Island
Sangiang Island is located between the Indonesian islands of Sumatra and Java and is fairly uninhabited since it has no direct connection with normal society and the internet. The island offers us the peace and quietness needed to give us the "remote island" experience. On the island, we are able see the beautiful flora on the island as well as the marine life around the island.
Kangerlussuaq
Kangerlussuaq is located on the west coast of Greenland. Between 1941 and 1992, Kangerlussuaq was used as a U.S. Air Force Base. Nowadays, this small city is inhabited by no more than 550 residents. Although not many tourists visit this unique location, there is plenty to do and visit. From taking freezing ice baths in the morning to watching the Northern Lights at night, Kangerlussuaq has it all. Are you ready to face the cold of the arctic?
Atacama Desert
The Atacama Desert, located in east-Chile, is the driest nonpolar desert in the world, as well as the only true desert to receive less precipitation than the polar deserts and the largest fog desert in the world. Both regions have been used as experimentation sites on Earth for Mars expedition simulations.
